Split reins can have leather ties at the bit end or chicago screws, or snaps or conway buckles or they can have buckles One piece reins can have all of the above. Whatever takes your fancy really Lengths can be adjusted also Generally leather will only go to seven foot at the longest without having to join leather. It is also possible to have braiding if you so desire.
